The complimentary menu is the Light Festival Menu, a 4 course dinner consisting of an appetizer, soup, a main course and a dessert. Kicking off the 4 course menu, was a sample appetizer, a savory crab dish and a complimentary cocktail.
The appetizer itself, Smoked Salmon Balic Style served with Fresh Dill, Potatoes Salad & Mustard Mayonnaise Sauce is definitely a please to the eye. The components compliment each other perfectly to make it a dynamic appetizer.
The Porcini Liason with Chicken Farce Stuffed Morel Mushroom is definitely on the heavier side, the creamy texture and rich flavors was hearty and left me anticipating for what's next the chef have to offer.
The main course, Grilled Free Range Spring Chicken served with Cous Cous & Tarragon Whole Grain Mustard Sauce spotlights the Light Menu. Once again, the Chef demonstrated the skills of garnishing the plate, the dish is also another artistic plating in my opinion.
The dessert,Ricotta Cheesecake with Chestnut Mousse, Raspberry Coulis and Almond Crisp (the dishes are surely mouthful, eh?) is like a mini Sim City of dessert, with vibrant colors and artistic plating, it's a shame we had to dismantle them to enjoy the savory dessert. To compliment the sweet dessert, a choice of coffee or tea was served as well to balance the taste bud.

Coffee or Tea? Coffee definitely! Tee hee hee.
The prime suspect, Chef Valmurugan Subramaniam is the captain who brings the bounty and steers the ship with crews trained to bring the best service anyone could ask for. The dishes speaks of the true talents that makes Chef Val. The service crew were on their game as well, and to be honest, it was a little intimidating to be served that well, LOL.Coffee or Tea? Coffee definitely! Tee hee hee.
Overall, the MIGF 2011 Light Menu was a great assemble, and this was definitely worth our trip there. Just one minor glitch on their end, though the meal was complimentary (which we are not complaining) they did charged us on the sparkling water, which took us by a little surprise. Would I come back here again? With a grin, yeah :D
